8. Casey Turner, Great Bridge (2003-07)

Turner was a standout for the Wildcats during his prep career, finishing his time with the team with 8,357 passing yards and 84 touchdowns. The two-time Tidewater Conference Player of the Year committed to UConn where he spent his redshirt freshman season.

Following his redshirt year, Turner transferred to Western Carolina but never played for the team. Instead, he transferred to D-II Elizabeth City State University where he started four games in 2013 throwing for 1,309 yards, 10 touchdowns and five interceptions before injury forced him to retire.
