Autumn Owen transferring; 5 landing spots for slugger

Owen hails from Mill Spring, North Carolina, approximately an hour and a half away from Charlotte. While this move wouldn’t be a jump to a Power 5 program for Owen, the 49ers made the NCAA Tournament field for the first time in program history after earning an at-large bid with a 33-21 record and Conference USA regular season championship.
Given its historic 2023 campaign, Charlotte may want to capitalize on its success by adding a homestate transfer of Owen’s skillset. For Owen, she’d join an NCAA Tournament team seemingly on the rise, however would she be willing to join yet another small school program instead of the allure of the Power 5 conferences?
