The Hawks find themselves in a similar spot as the Bulls, with the team’s current group seemingly reaching their peak with Trae Young as the franchise’s top player. With a chance this offseason to re-shuffle either Young or his supporting cast, Atlanta may deem LaVine as its best option for resetting some of its recent struggles. Finding a second playmaker next to Young has plagued the Hawks throughout the point guard’s tenure, even after the addition of Dejounte Murray. With a plethora of young first–round wings to put in a potential package, Atlanta could decide to deal some of its youth as it looks to get closer to an NBA title.
