The Trail Blazers are running out of time with star point guard Damian Lillard and need to do something to keep Lillard in Portland. Giving Lillard a true All-Star-caliber teammate in the frontcourt could certainly entice the star guard to stay. The Trail Blazers have their own rising star in Anfernee Simons who will help in trade negotiations. They also have the third pick in the draft this year, which could be huge because the belief is that New Orleans wants Scoot Henderson, who might be available when the clock starts for the third pick. Portland might still have to bring a third team into the mix to make everything workout but Williamson could be a Trail Blazer soon.
