Top 10 highest-drafted brothers in NBA draft history

1. Lonzo and Lamelo Ball – No. 2, No. 3

The much-talked-about Ball family made history starting in 2017 as the oldest Ball brother, Lonzo, had just enjoyed an impressive opening season at UCLA. His freshman year would lead to his selection by the Los Angeles Lakers with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft, as his brother LiAngelo and LaMelo were set to follow. While the collegiate path for the younger siblings went in a different direction, LaMelo’s time overseas would lead to his selection third overall in the 2020 NBA Draft by the Charlotte Hornets. The popular Ball brothers have now seen both Lonzo and LaMelo become top playmakers within the league.
