Jocelyn Erickson enters transfer portal; 5 landing spots
NORMAN, Okla. (BVM) – Even after their third-straight national championship, the Oklahoma Sooners‘ offseason is bringing some early adversity with the newest transfer portal addition being freshman star Jocelyn Erickson.

Erickson becomes the third Sooner to enter into this offseason’s portal, with star pitcher Jordy Bahl landing at Nebraska after taking the same route just a few weeks ago. The rising sophomore catcher/utility player appeared in 57 games last season and posted a batting average of .337 to go along with seven home runs on the year. Erickson also appeared in 10 of the team’s 12 postseason games which included both matchups in the Women’s College World Series final. Kinzie Hansen will now be the lone catcher on the current Oklahoma roster.
With a chance for Erickson to find similar success elsewhere, here are five teams that could make the most sense.
