9. Anthony Thomas, Winnfield (1993-96)
“A-Train” is one of the most accomplished backs ever to come from the Bayou State. He totaled 7,594 rushing yards at Winnfield High School Thomas then joined the University of Michigan Wolverines in 1997. The 6-foot-2, 225-pounder made his presence felt. He tallied 4,098 yards and 49 career rushing TDs in maize and blue. In 2001, Thomas was drafted by the Chicago Bears as a second-round pick. He played seven years in the NFL.
