Top 10 all-time leading rushers in Virginia HS football

4. Larry Basham, William Byrd (2014-17)

Basham is one of the most elite runners in VHSL history as he ranks in the top five in career rushing yards, rushing touchdowns and scoring. During his four years with the William Byrd Terriers, Basham rushed for 7,414 yards, 122 touchdowns (second-most all time) and scored 736 points (second-most all time).

However, despite his success in high school, Basham never made it to the college level. Instead, Basham will forever be remembered for his contributions to the Terriers program.
