Top 10 all-time leading rushers in Indiana HS football
10. Kiante Enis, Winchester Community (2012-15)
Although Enis’ football career ultimately came to a disturbing end, he was an incredibly talented running back during his time at Winchester Community High School. For the Golden Falcons, Enis racked up 7,014 rushing yards in his career, highlighted by a senior season in which he ran for 2,395 yards and 35 touchdowns.
Coming out of high school, the 6-foot-1, 200-pound running back was ranked No. 561 nationally in the Class of 2016, and was rated as a three-star recruit. His success came as no surprise thanks to his family background in the sport, as Enis’ uncle, Curtis Enis, was the Big Ten Co-Offensive Player of the Year in 1997 at Penn State, and selected No. 5 overall in the 1998 NFL Draft by the Chicago Bears. Kiante followed in his uncle’s footsteps to the Big Ten with the Indiana Hoosiers before eventually being dismissed from the program.
