Kelly Maxwell enters transfer portal; 5 landing spots for ace
STILLWATER, Okla. (BVM) – Another top pitcher in college softball is looking for a new home. Oklahoma State redshirt senior ace Kelly Maxwell entered the transfer portal Friday in a surprise move.

Maxwell was named second-team All-American by D1Softball after finishing the year with a 16-7 record with a 1.91 ERA, a .157 batting average against and 229 strikeouts over 142.2 innings with 24 starts, nine complete games, five saves and four shutouts. Over the course of her four-year Cowgirl career, Maxwell compiled a 58-20 record with a 1.58 ERA, 746 strikeouts and a .158 batting average against in 494.2 innings pitched.
Given her status as an All-American and her success in one of the toughest conferences in the country, Maxwell should receive plenty of attention in the transfer portal. Here are five potential landing spots for the star pitcher.
