The 6-foot-11 center finished with 13 points, seven rebounds, six assists, two steals and one block. However, it was his second game against the Charlotte Hornets that really caught everyone’s attention. Castleton led Los Angeles in points (21) and rebounds (14) while going 8-for-13 from the field. Castleton’s play should get Lakers fans excited. It’s early but Los Angeles needs more depth in its frontcourt behind Rui Hachimura and Anthony Davis. Having Castleton as a viable option off the bench would help the Lakers keep the momentum going from their Western Conference finals run this past season.
