O’Reilly was traded to the Maple Leafs on Feb. 17 and helped Toronto reach the second round of the Stanley Cup playoffs for the first time since 2004. He also showed he could still produce quality offensive numbers at 32, and new Nashville general manager Barry Trotz took notice and signed him to a four-year, $18 million contract.
