5. Marques Easley, OT, Kankakee
The 6-foot-5, 335-pound offensive tackle isn’t hard to miss on a football field and has quickly drawn the attention of college programs around the country. With offers from the likes of Alabama, Oklahoma, and Tennessee, Easley landed on Georgia this summer where he is set to play his opening collegiate season. With one final run at the prep level, the Kankakee senior will look to push the Kays deeper in 2023 after missing out on the IHSA quarterfinals last year. Ending with an 8-3 record a season ago, Easley and his Kankakee squad will have another chance at finding success.
