Top 10 Virginia QBs for 2023 high school football season
9. Jack Callaghan, Jr., Collegiate
Callaghan is another quarterback who impressed during his sophomore campaign. Last fall, the 6-foot-3, 200-pound signal caller threw for 1,582 yards, 14 touchdowns and 11 interceptions for a Cougars team in the tough VISAA Division I. While the Cougars didn’t have the most successful season going just 4-6, Callaghan showed poise and growth during his first season as the starter, finishing the year with the No. 24 passing yards in the state.
Given his flashes of ability and his prototypical size, it comes as no surprise that Callaghan has received a bit of D-I attention. Callaghan has been to numerous football camps and even earned his first offer from Western Michigan in May.
Excited to receive my first FBS offer from @WMU_Football #BroncosReign
