Notre Dame football: Where top 10 recruits of the 2000s are now
No. 10 – Kyle Rudolph
Rudolph’a 247Sports Composite rating of 0.9832 rounds him out as the 10th highest-rated Notre Dame recruit of the 2000s. The 6-foot-6, 229-pound tight end graduated from Elder High School (Ohio) in the Class of 2008.
Rudolph ended up entering the 2012 NFL Draft as one of the top tight ends – thanks to his career totals of 90 receptions for 1032 yards and eight touchdowns during his three seasons at Notre Dame. The two-time Pro Bowler played 12 years in the NFL but has yet to retire on the record.
Rudolph is the only person on this top 10 list who is still involved in either college or professional football. The 33-year-old will work as an analyst and call Big Ten games for NBC during the 2023 football season.
