Notre Dame football: Where top 10 recruits of the 2000s are now
No. 9 – Duval Kamara
Kamara’s 247Sports Composite rating of 0.9834 makes him the ninth highest-rated Notre Dame recruit of the 2000s. The Class of 2007, 6-foot-5 wide receiver graduated from Hoboken High School (New Jersey).
Kamara didn’t exactly live up to his highly-touted status while at Notre Dame. He recorded 86 receptions, 893 yards and nine touchdowns in his four seasons and actually missed his final game because of academic issues. He went undrafted in the NFL and participated in Eli Manning’s passing camp in an attempt to get noticed by scouts.
It’s unclear what the 34-year-old is up to today since he never made it to the NFL. He doesn’t have public social media and hasn’t done any interviews to discuss what he’s working on outside of football.
