14. Grant Wells, Virginia Tech

Wells is a QB with three years of starting experience. Last season was anything but special as he passed for 2,091 yards, nine TDs and nine interceptions and he could find himself on thin ice after leading the Hokies to just three wins in 2022.

To ignite competition, Virginia Tech brought in Kyron Drones, a former four-star recruit and a transfer from Baylor, who has seen 67 snaps in his collegiate career. Drones is sure to bring plenty of talent to Blacksburg, but with Wells bringing the experience, it’ll be up to him to help Virginia Tech rebound in 2023.
