12. Zach Pyron, Georgia Tech

Coming out of Alabama, Pyron was rated as a four-star recruit by 247Sports, the No. 18 QB in the nation and received offers from Georgia Tech, Arkansas, Baylor, Houston and others. He landed in Atlanta and took the field as a true freshman and recorded 595 passing yards and three TDs in three games.

With Jeff Sims transferring to Nebraska, it’s opened the door for him to begin the season as the starter, but he will have a lot of work ahead of him as he looks to hold onto the starting role and help the Yellow Jackets find success in 2023.
