Top 10 Louisiana QBs for 2023 high school football season
10. Jaboree Antoine, Jr., Westgate
Antoine is better known for his exploits in the defensive backfield than the offensive one, as the unanimous four-star recruit is considered one of the top cornerbacks in the entire country in the Class of 2025, that doesn’t mean his athleticism hasn’t shown up under center. As the part-time quarterback for the Tigers last season, Antoine finished the season with 1,650 passing yards, 12 touchdowns and six interceptions while rushing for 303 yards and another score.
Given his expertise in the secondary, Antoine holds 12 offers including from Florida, LSU, Michigan, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Texas among others. While Antoine is expected to once again be one of the top defensive backs in the state this season, don’t be surprised to see him take a major step forward under center as well as he looks to lead Westgate back into the playoffs after going 10-4 with a Division I Non-Select Final Four appearance last fall.
