Top 10 Nebraska HS football players in Class of 2024
5. Ashton Murphy, DL, Elkhorn South
With a 6-foot-5, 245-pound frame, Murphy has been a force on both the offensive and defensive lines for Elkhorn South. Last season, he turned in 37 total stops — five of which were for a loss —and will be the Storm’s leading returning tackler this time around.
Along with Bay City (Tx.)’s Carlon Jones, Murphy is part of the next wave of defensive disruptors at the University of Nebraska. Murphy also has offers from Air Force, Army, Colorado, and Iowa State.
Had another amazing visit at UNL today. I really like how the Coaches & Staff make me feel at home. Rightfully so because it is home! Comitted!!🌽☠️
