Every Big 12 football program’s best season of all time
BYU: 1984
While the 1984 campaign isn’t the Cougars’ highest program win total, the year provided the only team in school history that has gone undefeated. Led by head coach LaVell Edwards, the Cougars’ journey culminated in their first and only national championship. Quarterback Robbie Bosco guided a high-powered offense, and his connection with wide receiver Glen Kozlowski proved pivotal in the team’s passing attack during the 13-0 campaign. With its significant comeback win against Michigan in the Holiday Bowl and a victory against rival Utah a few weeks earlier, BYU’s perfect season came to fruition.
