Another top senior, Ross was a standout for the Rebels as a junior. During last season, Ross recorded 49 tackles including, 16 for loss, 2.5 sacks and two defensive touchdowns for a 7-5 Rebels squad that made it to the Class 7A playoffs. This earned the defender second-team all-state honors.
The 6-foot-5, 220-pound defensive end is considered one of the best players in the senior class as he is ranked as the No. 12 player in the nation and No. 1 player in the state by 247 Sports. Ross held 21 scholarship offers prior to committing to Tennessee on Aug. 21.
