MACOMB – The Western Illinois men’s and women’s cross country team open the season this Friday, hosting the Western Illinois Alumni Cross Country Invitational. The meet will be held at Spring Lake Park and begins with the women’s race at 5:15 p.m. The Leatherneck women won last year’s event at Spring Lake Park while the men finished second to Bradley.
