NIU Returns to the Road Tuesday at Western Michigan

DEKALB, Ill. – The Northern Illinois University men’s basketball team begins a two-game road trip on Tuesday night, Jan. 31, as the Huskies travel to Kalamazoo, Mich., to take on Western Michigan. Game time against the Broncos is slated for 6 p.m. CT and the contest will be available on ESPN+, 94-9 WDKB and The Varsity Network app.

DeKALB, Illinois – The Northern Illinois University gymnastics team finished off a double meet weekend with its highest overall score of the year, led by a stellar performance from the Huskie beam team, which posted the fourth highest team score school history.

DEKALB, Ill. – The Northern Illinois University men’s tennis team claimed all 11 points as they won a pair of matches against Cardinal Stritch on Sunday (Jan. 29) at the Nelson Tennis Center at Chick Evans Field House. NIU won the first match, 7-0, before claiming the second, 4-0, to improve to 4-1 on the season.

Huskies Upended at Home by Ball State

DEKALB, Ill. – The Northern Illinois University men’s basketball team saw its three-game win streak end on Saturday (Jan. 18) as the Huskies fell, 87-69, to Ball State at the NIU Convocation Center. David Coit (Columbus, N.J.) scored a team-high 20 points and Kaleb Thornton (Bolingbrook, Ill.) added 18 but NIU was unable to overcome a 16-point halftime deficit.
