Stony Brook, NY – The Wagner College cross country teams both opened up their season at the Stony Brook season opener on Saturday. The women’s team finished tied for fourth, while the men’s team completed the race in third overall. Sophomore Laura Trenado led the way for the Seahawks as she ran the 4k in 14:41.9, finishing in fifteenth place overall. Seniors Elizabeth Szambel and Ana Blanco Duran followed closely behind, finishing with times of 15:11.1 and 15:27, respectively.
