10 longest win streaks to start a season in NFL history

T-5. Denver Broncos, 1998

A more modern entry, the Broncos seemed destined to repeat as Super Bowl champions as the 1998 season began. Denver peeled off 13 straight wins to begin the campaign before being surprised by the Giants in the Meadowlands when quarterback Kent Graham hit Amani Toomer for the decisive touchdown with under a minute to go in the 20-16 defeat. However, the Broncos would rebound as they finished the regular season 14-2 and went on to defend their Super Bowl title.
