MLB franchises with most Roberto Clemente Award winners
(BVM) — Each MLB organization announced their candidate for the prestigious Roberto Clemente Award on Friday. The achievement signifies a player’s contributions off the field, primarily highlighting their heroics in the local community.
An MVP award or a Cy Young will pop out more on a resume, but this honor is arguably baseball’s most coveted.
“I think when you think about baseball and the history and all the great accolades that can be achieved on the field, this is one that stands out above all of them, for me,” Justin Turner said at a press conference after winning the award in 2022.
Some teams stand out more than others as far as the amount of winners they have had in their clubhouse. These are the franchises who have won it the most.
