3. Michigan 

The Wolverines had their best season since 1997 in 2022, but in 2021 they finished 12-2, head football coach Jim Harbaugh defeated Ohio State for the first time but lost to Georgia, the eventual national champions, in the Orange Bowl.

However, Michigan brought in the most money out of any Big Ten program with $131.4 million and spent $52.4 million, making a $79 million profit.
