10. Erasmus James, DE, 2001-04

Nicknamed “The Eraser,” James saw improvement every season on the defensive line, culminating in a breakout senior season in 2004. The 6-foot-4, 260-pound end racked up eight sacks and 11.5 tackles for loss, earning the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year award as well as a consensus All-American selection.

James finished his career in Madison with 124 tackles, 25.5 tackles for loss, and 18 sacks before being drafted 18th overall by the Minnesota Vikings in the 2005 NFL Draft.
