10 NFL teams that have won the Super Bowl after 0-1 start

New England Patriots, 2003

For the third consecutive season, a team that began 0-1 won the Super Bowl in 2003 as the Brady-led Patriots once again accomplished the feat. After losing the season opener to the Bills in embarrassing fashion 31-0, New England rattled off 14 wins over its next 15 games, including 12 straight to end the regular season with a 14-2 record.

The well-oiled Patriots machine kept rolling along during the postseason, defeating the Tennessee Titans 17-14 in the divisional round and the Indianapolis Colts 24-14 in the AFC championship game. In Super Bowl XXXVIII, New England was victorious thanks to another last-minute field goal as it defeated the Carolina Panthers 32-29.
