History repeated itself in 2011 as the Giants once again found themselves behind the 8-ball following a 28-14 loss to Washington in Week 1. New York again squeaked into the playoffs as a wild card, this time with a 9-7 record, but it didn’t matter.

The Giants made their way to the Super Bowl after beating the Atlanta Falcons, Packers and 49ers. Once again facing the Patriots in Super Bowl XLVI, the underdog New York squad again won, this time 21-17.
