Rachaad White has rushed for 112 yards on 34 attempts in Tampa Bay’s first two games, but no other Buccaneer running back has received more than 20 carries. Chase Edmonds has also reportedly suffered an MCL injury, leaving rookie Sean Tucker to back up White, but Todd Bowles and company may look to add a reliable back in Akers, who carries a $1.9 million cap hit, according to spotrac.com.
