6. Don Meredith (1960-68)
Meredith was an original member of the Dallas Cowboys serving as the team’s backup QB. He started eight games in 1962 before becoming the full-time starter in 1963. Meredith led Dallas to its first postseason appearance in 1966 and every season after that until he retired after the 1968 season at the age of 31.
He tallied 18,415 total yards and 150 touchdowns in 104 games with the Cowboys.
