7. Bill Kenney (1980-88)

Though Kenney ranks high in many career statistical categories for Kansas City quarterbacks, the lack of team success during his time under center puts him lower on this list. Kenney’s best season came in 1983 where he threw for 4,348 yards, 24 touchdowns and 18 interceptions on his way to Pro Bowl honors.

While Kenney led the Chiefs to the postseason in 1986, his overall record in Kansas City was just 34-43. However, Kenney ranks in the top five in franchise history in passing yards with 17,277 (fifth) and touchdowns with 105 (fourth).
