Ranking the top 10 Kansas City Chiefs QBs of all time
6. Steve DeBerg (1988-91)
DeBerg had one of the most successful runs in Chiefs history during his time under center. While he never earned any league accolades, DeBerg had a standout 1990 season where he threw for 3,444 yards, 23 touchdowns and just four interceptions while leading the Chiefs to a wild-card berth. He led Kansas City to the postseason again in 1991 winning their first playoff game against the Raiders, though they fell to the Buffalo Bills the next week.
Over four years with the team, DeBerg compiled a 31-20-1 record while throwing for 11,873 yards, 67 touchdowns and 50 interceptions. He ranks sixth in franchise history in passing yards and touchdown passes with 11,873 and 67, respectively.
