3. Trent Green (2001-06)

After struggling to find his place in the league early in his career, Green found a home with the Chiefs where he quickly rose to star status. Over six years in Kansas City, Green threw for 21,459 yards, 118 touchdowns and 85 interceptions while leading the team to a 48-40 record and two playoff appearances. He was also twice named a Pro Bowler with the Chiefs in 2003 and 2005.

Despite a winning regular season record, Green couldn’t help Kansas City get over the hump as he went 0-2 in both of his playoff starts. However, he still stands as one of the best signal callers to ever don a Chiefs helmet, ranking third in franchise history in both passing yards and passing touchdowns.
