Cortland strikes twice in second half to down Bears, 2-0

POTSDAM, N.Y.—SUNY Cortland (6-2-1, 2-0 SUNYAC) scored twice in the second half to defeat the SUNY Potsdam women’s soccer team (2-4-2, 0-2-2) 2-0 on Wednesday night at Maxcy Turf Field. Senior captain Savannah Bowie (Mechanicville, N.Y./Mechanicville) made five saves for the Bears. While the Red Dragons outshot Potsdam in the first half, the Bears had more chances than the visitors.
