2. Chet Holmgren, Oklahoma City Thunder
Holmgren was the No. 2 overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft after averaging 14.1 points per game at Gonzaga. However, he missed the entire 2022-23 NBA season with a Lisfranc injury and is still eligible for NBA Rookie of the Year. He may be limited to begin the season, coming off the injury, but being surrounded by players Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Josh Giddey and Luguentz Dort will help him thrive and make him a favorite for the award.
