Freshmen Runners Shine at Bronco Invitational Race

SUNNYVALE, Calif. – Pacific had nine women’s cross country runners finish in the women’s open race at the Bronco Invitational, hosted by Santa Clara. The Tigers finished seventh in the 18-team field that included college teams, junior colleges and club programs. Three freshmen led the way for the Tigers with Cathrine Groenbech crossing the line first for Pacific in the 6K race in the time of 23:21.4 for a season-best time.
