Geneseo edges Bears on Senior Day, 2-0

POTSDAM, N.Y.—SUNY Geneseo (6-2-6, 2-0-5 SUNYAC) scored in each half in a 2-0 win over the SUNY Potsdam women’s soccer team (3-7-2, 1-5-2) on Saturday afternoon at Maxcy Turf Field. Bears senior captain Savannah Bowie (Mechanicville, N.Y./Mechanicville) made 10 saves on the day. The Knights tested Potsdam’s defense early and often, but didn’t break through until the 28th minute.
