Ranking college football’s top 10 tight ends so far in 2023
ATHENS, Ga. (BVM) – Brock Bowers is the best tight end in college football.
The 6-foot-4, 240-pound junior is the No. 4 prospect on ESPN NFL draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr’s latest big board and leads Georgia (and all FBS tight ends) with 41 catches and 567 yards. He had at least 100 receiving yards in three straight games before what may end up being his final college football game.
Bowers recently underwent tightrope surgery to repair a high ankle sprain he suffered against Vanderbilt on Oct. 14. With no timeline on his recovery, it’s likely that the next time the All-American tight end suits up is for an NFL team.
