3. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Another NFC South contender, the Buccaneers are one of the league’s early surprises.. At 3-3 and second in the NFC South, Tampa Bay could easily find itself either playing for a division title or a wild–card spot come the end of the regular season. If they want to get there, they should want a bit more out of their pass rush.

The Bucs have just 16 sacks and are led in the category by defensive tackle Vita Vea who has three and a half. While Tampa Bay has Shaquille Barrett and 2021 first-round pick Joe Tryon-Shoyinka at defensive end, Barrett only has two sacks on the year and is turning 31 in November. With the Bucs having a potential out of Barrett’s contract after the season, maybe they’d be interested in adding the younger, more productive Sweat and extending him than keeping Barrett around long term.
