DURHAM, N.C. (BVM) – The starting ticket prices for the most expensive men’s college basketball games entering the 2023-24 season may leave some questioning if they can afford to get in.
Here are the 10 most expensive NCAA Division I men’s college basketball games to purchase at the last moment.
This list takes into account the “starting price” of a single ticket before taxes and fees from SeatGeek (the web’s largest event ticket search engine) as of Oct. 27 – which is 10 days before the season officially begins. Prices on available tickets for the 350-plus DI men’s basketball teams were all considered, but the Maui Invitational was excluded.
Note that ticket prices are constantly fluctuating based on demand; they will increase or decrease through the season based on a team’s success. College basketball games may cost more than football because of the difference in stadium/arena seating capacity.
Based on the data, it’s clear that Duke men’s basketball tickets are some of the toughest tickets to score because of the highly inflated secondary market prices.
