Ranking all 14 Big Ten head coaches entering 2023-24 season
14. Ben Johnson, Minnesota
It’s been tough at Minnesota for Johnson since taking over the program two years ago after seeing many of the team’s former stars head elsewhere in the portal ahead of his opening year. With disappointing finishes over the last two seasons, Johnson will have to start figuring out ways to get better in 2023-24, with just nine wins coming this past campaign. The chance to get healthier will certainly help Johnson and his squad, but the Minnesota coach has yet to prove he can win at a high level in the conference.
