4. Joe Barry Carroll, C (Denver)
Carroll was born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas but attended Denver East High School as well. The 7-footer went and plied his trade at Purdue. J.B. was taken first overall in the 1980 NBA Draft. He made an All-Star appearance with the Golden State Warriors in 1987.
