Cap’n Jack had quite a career. The 6-foot-8 Houstonian went to high school in nearby Port Arthur. Jackson was chosen by the Phoenix Suns as a No. 2 pick in the 1997 NBA Draft and spent 14 seasons in the league. Cap’n Jack captured an NBA title in 2003 as part of the San Antonio Spurs.
