The 6-foot-10 big man from Houston honed his craft at UConn, where he won an NCAA crown. Okafor entered the league in 2004 and earned NBA Rookie of the Year as a Charlotte Bobcat. The Bellaire HS standout played ten years in the pros, averaging 12 points and nearly 10 boards a game.
