BLOOMINGTON, Ill. (BVM) – For many years, the state of Illinois has been known as a hotbed for high school basketball talent. Whether it be Isiah Thomas, Dwyane Wade, Derrick Rose or Anthony Davis, the Prairie State seems to produce an elite prospect year after year that goes on to find stardom.
This season, Illinois could very well produce a superstar once again, as plenty of talent is set to take the floor in 2023-24. That is particularly true in an impressive senior class, one that includes several top-100 prospects nationally, and some other truly elite scorers and playmakers.
