Top 10 Pennsylvania boys basketball players in Class of 2024
7. Aasim Burton, G, Cardinal O’Hara
Burton has earned the nickname “flash,” as he has the ability to make splashy plays on the offensive end while also being a solid defender. As a sophomore playing at Math Civics and Sciences Charter School, Burton put up averages of nine points, three rebounds and two assists. Last season, Burton got his first taste of the Catholic League as he joined Cardinal O’Hara and thrived, scoring 13.2 points per game while also averaging 4.3 rebounds, five assists and 1.7 steals. The sky’s the limit for the 6-foot-3 combo guard heading into his senior season. Following his time at Cardinal O’Hara, Burton will play college basketball at Rider, committing to the Broncs over the summer.
