4. Minnesota Twins

The Twins went 87-75 to win a weak AL Central in 2023 and ended a 19-year winless streak in the postseason as they reached the ALDS where they fell to the Astros in four games. While Minnesota’s starting pitching was solid throughout the year, the Twins were not a bad hitting team either and were third in the majors with 233 home runs. However, Minnesota could lose some of that pop this offseason with guys like Joey Gallo and Michael A. Taylor hitting free agency. Hernandez would be a logical upgrade on either of those guys, particularly when it comes to hitting for average, and would slot in nicely alongside Byron Buxton and Max Kepler.
